Only Once

We only live once in this short lifetime of ours, so why not do what we like? Why ignore some of our needs just because they might be wrong? Why be wise?!!!!!
I want to do whatever pleases me, I want to do everything I like. I want to follow my heart.
Actually this is how I have been all my life. Some say it's better to concentrate on one thing, one goal, and not think of anything else, and go for it till you reach to the end of that, no matter what. But I am not like that! I do whatever pleases me in that certain time. My goal is to live happy NOW, to enjoy NOW.

For example, incase of learning stuff, I have tried learning lots of things: sking, tennis, rollerblading, swimming...organ, classic guitar, electric guitar...and still like trying horse riding, diving, kite...painting...and some day I will, even if in my 60's! -well not for horse riding :)) -

When doing each, I put all my energy on it, and that's why I love them all! I am not expert in any of them, but I know them all, I never gave up on any of them, just started something new, it' good to know how each of them feels like, I may try them again some day, whenever I'm in the mood for it, so why doing just one? Why not giving the chance for enjoying more things?

Actually I like the second theory as well, getting expert on one sport, or one instrument...but I like to experience more...the feeling refreshes me, the feeling of awaking the part of my soul which hasn't been used yet! Experiencing new excitements. That's how I am.

I may die today, so why wait to see what tomorrow brings? I follow my heart. People say use your experience, and forget what you want, experience says this, experience says that...but what about me? Isn't it my life? Why should I live my life upon the other's experiences? or even upon my past? If I repeat my past more than once, would it end the same?

It's my life, and I decide for it.

No body can decide about your life or can live instead of you! So you have your own free will to choose your way of living, but taking some responsibilities about the others is a good pleasure in one's life too. Sometimes one should leave her/his interestings to help the others and in many cases the result will be a greater pleasure.
Please take a look at your weblog and see how much do you talk about yourself alone? How much you are at the center of the world and everything has made for you? Please think again,
How much other people playing roles in yourlife
OR
how much do you care about them?

Not as one of your hobbies but as their being!!!
Did you ever thought about somebody else not just to have fun with him/her or doing soemething interesting for you?

I know these lines will make you angry and as you are reading these lines, I know you are thinking of how to respond to them!
But please take it just as a friendly advise.
take care,
Sometimes a friend

hmmm...no, be cool and don't worry. It's a free page for anyone's opinion. Writing about myself doesn't mean I only think about myself, of course I don't neglect the fact that I am selfish, everybody is! But again it doesn't mean I don't think of others, or others are not important in my life, of course they are, specially the ones I love. I try my best not to hurt anyone.
Talking about ME and WANTING WHAT I LIKE, of course my needs are important to me, as it is to everybody! It also doesn't mean I will reach them no matter what happens to the others, I guess you misunderstood.
Anyways, thanks for your comment, it's always nice to hear the others opinion, specially interms of advise, I am not here to hear just "positive" comments or hearing people saying WHOA YOU ARE A GREAT PERSON, "negatives" are the ones that give us hint to double check our thoughts and believes.

All anyone can do is speak for themselves. I do not suppose to know how others feel and think, so I write about my own point of view. I believe that's what weblogs as a forum are all about. When I log on here I want to read about your ponderings and worries and pleasures, so keep expressing yourself! :)

Also, finding yourself and getting to know yourself makes you better able to be a good friend and relative. Without knowing yourself, you cannot know others.

Yes Kristian, we are on the same side. As it's been named, my weblog is about Her Life and how it keeps Going On, so it's all about herself and her thoughts and everything happening in her journey.

Hey, I wish its true.
That our life is decided by ourselves.
Sadly that is not the case most of the time.
My life is decided by the community.
I do not get to choose what i would like to be.
Instead , the community decided that it would be nice if we have plenty of reseacher arround.
And i'm taking a diploma for it.
The community decided that we should get an A for every single test we take or we will be called a disgrace to our parents.
I wish life is more carefree.
Without a care, without worry.
If i were to do what i wanted to do.
I would end up as a trash.

ps. I'm currently failing a lot of test. But i do not want to let anyone know about it and let them know i worry about it either. But i want to let it out alot. Thanks for everything. And sorry.

Anonymous,

Society is a mean old monster, for sure. It affects me too, sometimes to the extent of completely deciding my behaviour. What is the rule of society, on the other hand, has nothing to do with true reality. How you respond to society, and how you let them affect you is entirely up to you. More easily said than done, obviously, but then the truth usually is! They can hurt you, taunt you, terrorize you, and attempt to shape you into whatever fits their image, but in the end it's your perception of what is your true self that matters. Do you really think this 'social being' is truly your own real self?

To change your life, start by changing yourself. To change society, start by changing yourself. To change the world, start by changing yourself. It doesn't need to be an offensive thing, just a change in your own state of mind. Because your mind is something they can't touch unless you let them.

YES, live each day as though it were your last! There are so many things to try, to see, to learn, to experience...and so little time in each day, in each lifetime.
Negin and Kristian, I love your open-mindedness and your optimism. Wise words.
Anonymous, It sounds like you're going through a difficult time but ultimately you ARE in control. Hang in ther.

Of course there are lots of other things that can affect our life, but it's US who let them affect or not.
Don't you think if you believe in yourself everyone will believe in you? And if you let any dout in your success, it would be passed to the others? and -as youmentioned- to your parents?
All we need is to have some influence on the others and on the envirenment around us. If our life is not what we expect, it's all our fault. Change your life by changing yourself. Be different. Think different. Let your parents know you not by the grades you get, but by YOU youself.
Try to get an A for everything, but not for the community, but for yourself! Think what is more important to YOU, not for the community, because YOU are the one important thing, not the comminity itself or the people's thoughs. You live your life just the way you plan for it, if you live like this you've chosed this way, by doing what you are doing.
